I am Adina. I am from Ethiopia telling about my experience of Endoscopic thyroidectomy surgery in India at Mumbai. I developed multiple nodules in my thyroid gland. It was really discomforting me. I was having globus sensation and mild compressive symptoms of multinodular thyroid disease. I met my local surgeon. As our country Ethiopia is poor good infrastructure our hospitals do not have latest equipments and better facilities. Therefore my surgeon suggested me to go to India for my surgery. I searched for a reliable medical professional in India and my problem was solved when I talked to Dr. Dheeraj Bojwani, his knowledge and experience is really appreciable and he talked to one of his surgeons at Mumbai Endoscopic for my Endoscopic thyroidectomy surgery in India at Mumbai. The Indian hospital was really high-tech having well qualified surgeons trained from the US and UK. When my physical examination was done I had a palpable right thyroid mass. Ultrasonography of the thyroid identified two nodules in the right lobe: a 2-4 cm mass in the superior pole and a 3.0cm lesion in the inferior pole. A 1.1cm nodule was also noted in the left thyroid lobe. A right Hemithyroidectomy was performed as an outpatient procedure via minimally invasive endoscopic approach. The whole process was nice and painless. I was highly satisfied by the results of my Endoscopic thyroidectomy surgery in India at Mumbai.
