Dr. Jagdeesh N. Kulkarni (Mumbai)

Qualification:      M.S, M.CH, MNAMS, FCPS, FICS Consultant:      Oncologist  at  Wockhardt Hospital Mumbai. Dr. Jagdeesh N. Kulkarni has been awarded several prizes and scholarships during M Ch in Urology training. Subsequently he went to USA in 1986 for further training in GU & Gynecologic Oncology under aegis of Mammadi International foundation (American college of surgeons). Later he visited several international centers of excellence and had obtained training in laser surgery and laparoscopic oncology surgery under UICC, SIU, and Laser foundation scholarship. He has been Examiner for M Ch in urology in India and FRCS exit examiner for Singapore general hospital. His main field of interest is development of new surgical techniques in Genitourinary and Gynecologic oncological surgery. In 1999 he developed new technique of Extra Peritoneal Radical Cystectomy. He has developed new technique Of Gynecological tract sparing cystectomy in females. Both these operations have been widely accepted. He is currently the editor–in Chief of the Indian journal of cancer and has been on the council of several Indian and International academic societies including the latest COPE (Cancer of the Prostate endeavor) Academic Achievements and Awards  Dr CKP Menon Gold medal during M Ch in Urology training "Best Video prize" for innovations in urology in 2000.
