The ideal smile
A beautiful smile is more than just about looking good - it's about feeling good too. With today's technological innovations in dentistry, our specialists significantly improve the attractiveness of your smile, with little or no discomfort. Cosmetic dentistry is no longer the province of models, actors and the rich. At Pradhan Dental Centre, it is now available to every individual who aspires for a beautiful smile.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are wafer-thin shells of porcelain, which are bonded onto the front side of teeth. They are an excellent cosmetic solution for teeth which are stained, chipped, or slightly misaligned. Veneers offer a beautiful look and are resistant to staining. They are the secret of many movie star smiles.

Porcelain Inlays & Onlays
You can make your smile attractive from within, by replacing old silver amalgam fillings that have gone dark with age, with natural tooth-coloured inlays or onlays.

Periodontics / Bleeding Gums
Bleeding gums is an affliction that affects 75% of the population. If untreated it can complicate any existing disease such as Stroke, Diabetes and Heart disease.
At Pradhan Dental Centre in addition to routine cleaning and polishing and surgical treatment we also offer micro surgical and non surgical laser management of gum disease. Quick, efficient and painless, the laser is a high tech tool for many procedures. Experience this new breakthrough in the cure for an age old problem.
Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy)
Endodontics is also known as Root Canal treatment. This is needed when the blood or nerve supply of the tooth is infected through tooth decay or injury. This infection may spread through the root canal system of the tooth leading to an abscess. If Root Canal treatment is not carried out the infection will spread and the tooth may need to be removed.. A crown or any other restoration is then placed on the tooth to protect it and restore it to full function.
Why and when are root canal treatments required?
Decay of the teeth (cavities) if left untreated, generally progress and gradually destroy a significant portion of the tooth before reaching the ‘pulp’ of the tooth. The pulp of the tooth is a thin soft tissue present in the tooth canals consisting of mainly nerves and blood vessels.
Once this infection reaches the pulp it gives rise to a common ‘dental pain’. At this stage the tooth can only be saved by performing a root canal treatment.
What is a root canal treatment ?
In simple terms, root canal treatment is the removal of the infected soft tissue within the tooth and its replacement by an artificial inert ‘filling’ material. This procedure basically saves the tooth and eliminates dental pain.

A brief theory about the whitening effect
Microscopic intrinsic stains and discolorations are present deep within the teeth, which give them an overall dull or yellowish appearance. Such stains are professionally removed by our whitening experts with the use of a peroxide based agent. The peroxide reacts with such stain producing substances thereby oxidizing and removing them completely. The gums and lips are protected with special barriers to prevent their contact with peroxide.
