Dr. Sudarshan Ballal

MD, US Board Certified (Int Med, Nephro & Critical Care) is the director of Manipal Institute of Nephrology & Urology (MINU) and head of the Nephrology department. He ahs been associated with Manipal since 1991. He was the best outgoing student and obtained first rand in MBBS in all subjects from Mysore university. He was further trained at St. Louis University, USA. He is associate clinical professor of Medicine at St. Louis University Medical Centre and at KMC, Manipal & Mangalore. He is a teacher and examiner for DNB Nephrology. He ahs received many awards and gold medals both during the training and subsequently. He has over 80 publications in National and International Journals and has also authored chapters in text book. His areas of interest is teaching and research in Nephrology.
