Dr. Jaya Bhat

DGO, MD, MRCOG , FRCOG currently serves as the head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. She has had a long association with the Manipal group – right from being a student here to teaching at KMC, Manipal and Mangalore between 1975 and 77. She was amongst the first doctors to join the hospital in 1991, set up the OBG department and added the post graduate program. She has also had a long stint in prestigious hospitals in UK and USA.
